What synastry adds

Look at how two charts meet, not just two sign labels.

Synastry compares placements from two birth charts. An aspect can be a useful way to reflect on the meeting point between identity, emotional needs, communication, affection, motivation, or first impressions. It cannot determine the health or future of a relationship.

Use an aspect as a question: where do we feel easy, where do we need more language, and what does care look like when this difference is activated? That keeps the chart in a proportionate role and keeps the people in the relationship visible.

Velvet Zodiac also keeps calculation confidence visible. If a Moon has no recorded birth time, the calculator tests its daily longitude window instead of promoting a single noon Moon as exact. Exact angles and receiving-house overlays require a usable birth time; the site omits them when that precision is not supported.
